Fools Gold has a Mr. and Mrs Smith vibe but more
comedic. The film is about a married couple
who's marriage is on life support and are about
to end up bankrupt. After spending more than
seven years searching for treasure fate would
have it that a crucial clue shows up that may
just lead them to it. Andy Tennant ("Sweet Home
Alabama," "Hitch") will direct from a script by
Kenneth Lonergan, the writer/director/star of
the 2000 art house hit "You Can Count On Me.
